Job summary

Management Performance Associates is recruiting a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Silver Spring area. This role leads QA personnel in the laboratory and on the production floor to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

You will coach your team, review laboratory results, support audits, and partner with plant departments to improve processes and maintain high product quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable college/technical education in biology, chemistry, food science or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or QA.
• Knowledge of food industry practices and lab testing in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel, organize daily activities and set expectations for quality and safety.
• Coach and develop team members through training and feedback.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to resolve quality concerns and reinforce food safety.
• Oversee QA programs, documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with product specs, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
• Review lab data for accuracy, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
