Job summary

Oatey is seeking a production operator to make batch mixes daily, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. You will perform mixing tasks, gather materials, and follow standard procedures while maintaining records and supporting LEAN initiatives.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to PPE requirements, with opportunities to participate in continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read work orders.
• Willingness to participate in LEAN activities and 6S.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes batch mixes using established formulations to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Complete mixing tasks on a rotational basis as assigned.
• Follow SOPs, check sheets, and double-check materials for each batch.
• Maintain production records and document required data entries.
• Participate in LEAN events and maintain visual boards.
• Support safety, housekeeping, and quality initiatives daily.
