Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation in New Bern, NC is seeking a Team Leader Assembly I for the 1st shift in the cooking line. This role oversees hourly production teams, coordinates materials and equipment, and drives GEMBA metrics to ensure timely, high-quality output.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 2 years of related manufacturing experience, and familiarity with SAP, MS Office, 5S, and safety practices. The position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; two-year college preferred
• Strong SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Good knowledge of Preventive Maintenance (PMs), Autonomous Maintenance (AMs), 5S, and 5 Whys
• Technical knowledge of resistance welding, sheet metal working and industrial controls
• Able to operate all machine controls in Fabrication and strong troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee hourly production associates to meet schedule and specs
• Coordinate daily performance metrics by scheduling materials, equipment and personnel
• Update GEMBA metrics and present daily reviews to management
• Plan throughput with Planning and Supervisors and tie-in end-of-day adjustments
• Support safety, quality and training programs and maintain 5S standards
