Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Technician I for the 1st shift in New Bern, NC. You will operate and troubleshoot automated equipment, robots, vision systems, and PLCs, supporting process improvements with engineers.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality, performing preventive maintenance, and adjusting equipment parameters to optimize welds and production metrics. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of technical experience in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting, robotics, CNC, and PLC skills.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities; willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, vision inspection systems, and PLCs.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Monitor production metrics and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain laser optics to cleanroom standards and support laser head longevity.
• Adjust SEW axes and pneumatic pressures for proper welding alignment.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
