Overview

TT Electronics’ Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of custom and standard magnetic components and assemblies. The site has over 50 years of design experience and serves industries including renewable energy, medical devices, aerospace/aviation/automotive, electronics, food processing, instrumentation, industrial control, telecommunications and HVAC applications. Shift: 1st shift, 5:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Starting wage: $17.50 - $19.00 hourly with opportunity to grow. Full benefits package is included.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to company policies, ISO and any other special job requirements
• Sufficient Mechanical Skill to set-up and run winding machinery
• Count wire turns on a variety of coil forms
• Lead-out and stacking (hand stacking under a microscope or utlizing a large stacking machine)
• Solder by dipping or using solder iron
• Utilize taping methods for transformers and coring
• Perform quality testing as detailed in provided process instructions
• Accurately fill out required documentation throughout production process
• Assist in training new employees
• Pull up, write, and input programs into programmable machines and troubleshoot as needed
• Records time and quantity produced on timesheets daily
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills And Attributes

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent along with job specific training
• Minimum six months relevant experience in related industries
• Basic understanding of ISO requirements, quality audits and corrective action
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Ability to follow written, oral & diagram instructions
• Use measuring instruments, i.e. ruler, caliper, Optical Comparator
• Good eye-hand coordindation
• Previous work with microscope
• Ability to effectively problem solve
• Ability to work independently or on a team
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
