Job summary

Cowboy Space Corporation seeks its first Reliability Engineer to shape the reliability program from the ground up. You will decide tools, tailor analysis depth per subsystem, and work with propulsion, structures, and avionics to ensure safe, reliable performance from the outset.

You will own failure analyses, specify tests, and build lightweight tooling in Python and version control to empower engineers. Strong judgment and hands-on testing are essential for this role in a cutting-edge space

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in reliability, mission assurance, or systems engineering with real ownership.

Responsibilities

• Decide what reliability toolkit this program runs on, write it down short enough that people follow it, and defend every inclusion and omission.
