Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs.

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)

has an exciting opportunity for a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the Air Dominance Operations team for Advanced Composite Fabrication Center (ACFC) in Mesa, AZ! This position will require strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively work with the build team to support various proprietary programs. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures
  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in Composite Fabrication
  • Experience directly supporting a proprietary program
  • Knowledge working with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $111,350 – $150,650
