BackOps AI is hiring its first in-house recruiter in San Francisco to own full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering and product roles. You will craft sourcing strategies, work with hiring managers, and close top talent in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
• Experience hiring technical talent—engineers, infrastructure, and product roles.
• Strong sourcing, screening, and closing skills with a data-driven approach.
• Clear, compelling communicator who represents company mission and culture authentically.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle technical recruiting across engineering, product, and related roles.
• Build and run sourcing strategies to surface high-caliber candidates, including passive talent.
• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate expectations and run structured interview loops.
• Track funnel metrics and improve time-to-fill and offer-accept rates.
• Represent BackOps authentically to candidates and close with conviction.
• Manage multiple searches simultaneously without compromising quality.
