Job summary

Church Unlimited in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a First Impressions Director to lead guest experience at the campus level by recruiting volunteers, strengthening systems, and overseeing weekend services and events. You will cultivate a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for guests from arrival through completion of services.

The ideal candidate is relational, organized, and energized by building teams, with a track record in volunteer leadership, event planning, and clear communication

Qualifications

• Authentic relationship with Jesus and passion for guest experience.
• Three to five years of recent, relevant experience.
• Experience recruiting, leading and motivating volunteers or teams.
• Proven event planning and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and prioritization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and alignment with Church Unlimited’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the vision, mission, and values of Church Unlimited.
• Lead, serve, and support First Impressions during weekend services and events.
• Oversee campus-level First Impressions operations, including preparation and volunteer coverage.
• Identify, recruit, train, schedule, develop, and appreciate volunteers.
• Identify and develop key leaders who can own meaningful areas of responsibility.
• Help volunteers find serving roles aligned with gifts and strengths.
• Cast vision, clarify expectations, and unify the team through clear communication.
• Care for volunteers and support their spiritual well-being and development.
• Provide weekly reports and use feedback to improve guest and volunteer experiences.
• Maintain scheduling, communication, reporting, and ministry administration systems.
• Support the function, safety, and appearance of church interiors and uphold excellence.
• Partner with Campus Pastor on events, outreach opportunities, and priorities.

Position Overview

The First Impressions Director leads the guest experience at the campus level by recruiting and developing volunteer leaders, strengthening ministry systems, and overseeing weekend services and special events. This role is responsible for creating a consistent environment that is welcoming, organized, safe, and excellent from the moment guests arrive.

This role is ideal for someone who is relational, organized, energized by building teams, and able to lead with both vision and hands‑on support in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate the vision, mission, and values of Church Unlimited.
• Lead, serve, and support First Impressions during weekend services and special events.
• Oversee campus-level First Impressions operations, including preparation, volunteer coverage, and follow-through.

• Partner with the Campus Pastor on campus events, outreach opportunities, and additional ministry priorities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, web research, and digital communication tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
