Our private school is lookingfor highly enthusiastic educators capable of providing engaging hands‑on lessons and experiences in a nurturing environment for the 2026-2027 school year. Our First Grade Teachers are responsible for the care and education of a group of children. Our Teachers will create and implement lesson plans and manage the students as they learn. Teachers are responsible for keeping their classroom organized and clean, providing excellent communication in person and in writing, and creating a healthy and safe environment for all students and staff. All our teachers and staff are held to high standards regarding communication, curriculum, professionalism, and safety.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of an Associate degreein ECE, Elementary Education or relatedfield; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Minimum 1 year field-related experience working with young children in a school setting or childcare facility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Be committed to upholding standards for high quality education at every level

• Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Participate in required teacher and staff trainings

• Successful background check and VA licensing standards required
