Job summary

Kairos Project is seeking a dedicated recruiter to lead end-to-end hiring, build scalable processes, and source top talent for AI safety initiatives. You will manage multiple rounds, design screening, and coordinate work trials while aligning with Kairos’ mission.

You’ll collaborate with researchers, policy professionals, and funders to identify strong candidates, with remote work flexibility and travel as needed. This is a pivotal role to grow our global programs and labs.

Qualifications

• Experience with running end-to-end hiring processes or similar roles.
• Strong judgment about people and ability to hire under uncertainty.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage candidates.

Responsibilities

• Run Kairos’s hiring rounds end to end across pipeline stages.
• Source candidates through programs, network, and ecosystem.
• Build and improve hiring infrastructure and processes for AI safety roles.
• Help scope new roles and advise on org design questions.
• Support Kairos Labs hiring as it launches in 2027.
