Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Cook to join our hospital Food Services team. You will prepare meals for multiple outlets, adhere to safety standards, and help maintain high quality and consistency in patient and staff meals.

You will onboard and train new cooks, ensure opening and closing procedures are followed, and work a 5:00am to 1:30pm shift with rotating weekend availability. On-call is not required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a cook in hospital food services or restaurant.
• Current ServSafe Certification.
• Ability to open and close department operations per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and perform food preparation across outlets.
• On-board and train new cooks.
• Ensure department opening/closing guidelines are met.

REQUIRED

• Two (2) years of experience as a Cook in Hospital Food Services or restaurant.

• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of common dietary modifications.

5:00am-1:30pm
