Promni Health is seeking a First Contact Physiotherapist to join our established MSK team in Crewe. This is a full-time role (30-37.5 hours per week) based in GP practices with no hybrid/remote option.

You will assess and manage MSK patients at first contact, with autonomy and strong clinical support, collaborating with GPs and MDT colleagues and using EMIS or SystmOne. Promni Health offers protected CPD time, supervision, and funded training including injection therapy and independent

• A degree in Physiotherapy with HCPC and CSP registration.
• Active CPD portfolio and continuing professional development.
• Experience in MSK triage and GP-based roles.

Responsabilités

• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage MSK presentations including complex cases.
• Request investigations (e.g. imaging, blood tests) and make appropriate referrals.
• Create tailored self-management plans to support behavioural change and recovery.
• Use full scope of practice - including prescribing and injection therapy (if qualified).
• Record utilisation data daily and collect Patient Satisfaction Questionnaires (PSQs).

We are looking to recruit a First Contact Physiotherapist to join our established and experienced team in Crewe (hours TBC 30-37.5 per week). You will assess, diagnose, and manage MSK patients at the first point of contact, working with full autonomy and strong clinical support. Please note that this is not a hybrid or remote role. You will be embedded within your allocated practices, collaborating closely with GPs, reception teams, nurses, and wider MDT colleagues to deliver integrated, personalised patient care. You will have the opportunity to use or develop advanced skills, including injection therapy and independent prescribing, supported by protected CPD time and structured supervision., Clinical Practice

• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage MSK presentations including complex cases

• Work as part of a GP-based MDT and build positive relationships with practice staff
• Educate colleagues on MSK triage pathways and provide informal guidance
• Support clinical audits and service improvement initiatives
• Help shape and refine local MSK care pathways

• Engage in supervision and peer reflection sessions
• Continue your development against the HEE Roadmap to Practice
• Contribute to clinical governance and mentoring where appropriate
  Confident and friendly with a collaborative approach to integrating into GP practice teams
• Able to build strong relationships with GPs, receptionists, nurses, and MDT members
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Calm, resilient, and proactive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare setting
• Comfortable with digital tools and modern clinical systems
• Committed to high standards of ethical, professional, and patient-centred care, Confident and friendly with a collaborative approach to integrating into GP practice teams

Person Specification Qualifications Essential

• A degree in Physiotherapy with HCPC and CSP registration.

Desirable

• Completion of some level 7 MSc learning (HEE Roadmap Stage 1 & 2)
• Qualified independent prescriber
• Qualified injection therapist

Experience Essential

• Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
• Minimum 3 years MSK clinical experience
• Understanding of the HEE Roadmap to Practice and the MSK Core Capabilities Framework
• Active CPD portfolio aligned to the 4 pillars of advanced practice

Desirable

• Prior FCP or MSK triage experience (private or NHS)
• Experience working in GP practices
• Experience using EMIS or SystmOne
