Job summary

KinderKids Learning Center in Daphne, AL is hiring a First Class Pre-K Lead Teacher for a class of up to 18 four-year-olds. You will plan play-based learning aligned with the Alabama Standards for Early Learning and Development, and work with an Auxiliary Teacher under guidance from a FCPK coach.

The role requires a bachelor’s or higher in EC-related fields, background check, and ADECE credential approval. 7:00–2:30 style schedule, with 30 yearly PD hours offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field (ECE or related) and credentials approved by ADECE Office of School Readiness
• Background check including CAN clearance and fingerprinting required
• Puts 180 instructional days plus PD days in 10-month calendar

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach weekly lessons using ASELD and TS GOLD®, with hands-on learning and read-alouds
• Document children's progress daily in TS GOLD®; conduct family conferences twice yearly
• Build strong relationships with families through orientation and regular communication
• Maintain a safe, organized, child-centered classroom meeting ADECE and DHR standards
• Complete 30 hours of professional development annually, most provided by the program
