Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to lead complex civil defense litigation in Florida, focusing on auto, construction defect, and general liability matters. The role demands first-chair trial experience, strong deposition and motion practice, and the ability to manage heavy caseloads while delivering favorable outcomes for clients.

The attorney will handle all phases of litigation, collaborate with carriers and adjusters, and mentor junior attorneys.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar admission in good standing.
• 5+ years of litigation experience with substantial first-chair trial exposure.
• Proven track record in auto, truck, construction, and general liability matters.
• Strong deposition, motions, and trial briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first chair in jury and bench trials with case strategy development.
• Manage all phases of insurance-defense litigation from intake to verdict.
• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, coordinate expert testimony.
• Draft dispositive and evidentiary motions, pretrial briefs, and court filings.
• Develop case budgets, evaluate exposure, and advise carriers and clients.
