Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Peoria, AZ is seeking a First Assistant Golf Professional to support daily Golf Shop and Guest Services operations, coordinating with the Director of Golf to deliver exceptional guest service, drive revenue, and uphold BlueStar standards.

The role reports to the Head Golf Professional and requires 2–3 years supervisory experience, PGA membership preferred, and a willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with full-time benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Two to three years’ experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• PGA membership preferred and safety certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals.
• Oversee daily operations of the Golf Shop and Guest Services.
• Regularly meet with Head Golf Professional to discuss procedures, goals, and plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Assist with all tournament operations.
• Monitor operations budget to ensure revenues and expenses meet goals.
