Job summary

Streamsong Resort in Florida is seeking a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to support the Head Golf Professional with golf shop activities and outside services, ensuring guests receive outstanding service throughout their visit. You will help organize and run tournaments, outings, clinics and other golf programs, while managing shop merchandising, staff scheduling, and guest relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; PGA membership is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the golf industry required.
• Strong skills in retailing, marketing and sales, customer service, and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional with golf shop activities and outside service operations.
• Monitor staff performance to meet customer service standards and productivity goals.
• Maintain clean, stocked merchandise displays and secure shop areas and facilities.
• Plan and conduct individual and group lesson programs and clinics; assist with tournaments and events.
• Sell merchandise and provide recommendations to meet guest needs and upsell where appropriate.
• Oversee inventory, budgeting input, and reporting of golf shop operations.
