Position: CHS Travel: First Assist / Operating Room (OR)

Position Information:

Operating room assistants, also known as surgical technologists or operating room technicians, help with surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. They also ensure the operating room is clean before, during, and after surgery. Operating room assistants typically complete accredited training through a certificate, diploma, or associate's degree program and may obtain voluntary certification to gain employment.

Certified First Assist Needed: Shift 4x10's - (0630-1700)

Days off are on a rotation.

On-Call: Night and Weekend call required

Required: Certified First Assist & BLS

License verification is not required for First Assists
