Position: CHS Travel: First Assist / Operating Room (OR)

Position Information:

Operating room assistants, also known as surgical technologists or operating room technicians, help with surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. They also ensure the operating room is clean before, during, and after surgery. Operating room assistants usually complete accredited training through a certificate, diploma, or associate's degree program and obtain voluntary certification to gain employment.

Shift: 4/10's - 6:30 am - 5:00 pm

With Call: 2-3 shifts of call from 5:00 pm - 6:30 am each week

1 weekend of call per month, beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday and ending at 6:30 am on Monday

Minimum Requirements:

Certified First Assist with experience in Orthopedic FA and General Surgery DaVinci Robot FA cases.
