Tampa General Hospital in Crystal River, FL is seeking a Surgical Tech First Assist to support the operating room team across a variety of procedures. You will assist surgeons, maintain sterile technique, and help prepare the OR for cases in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a CFSA or CST credential, BLS certification, and at least two years of surgical technician experience. This is a full-time position with weekday scheduling and on-site work at the Crystal River facility.

Competenze

• CFSA or CST program completion is required.
• BLS certification through ARC or AHA is required.
• Two years of surgical technician experience is required.

Qualifications

Education

• Technical Program Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) or Surgical Technologist Program (CST)

Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) Certification through Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP)

Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) Certification through Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)

Work Experience

Two (2) years surgical technician experience
