Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a long-term locum tenens assignment in the Pacific Northwest. You will join a collaborative surgical team as a first assist in high-acuity CT surgery in an inpatient setting, with OR, ICU and post-operative management under an established program.

Requirements include PA certification, recent CT surgery experience, EVH proficiency, board certification/eligibility, and an active license preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with CT surgery experience.
• EVH experience required and beneficial for surgical cases.
• Board certified or board eligible; active license preferred.

Responsibilities

• First assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• ICU and inpatient management.
• Daily rounding and post-operative care.
• Admissions, consults, and discharge management.
• Participation in call rotation.
• Collaborative care with surgeons and AP providers.
