Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiothoracic (CT) surgery team in Grand Junction, CO on a PRN basis. You will assist surgeons, harvest vessels, and support CT clinic and PACU duties.

Requirements include a PA/NP degree, Colorado license, 1–2 years CT/EVH experience, BLS, and DEA. Intermountain offers credentialing support and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• PA or NP degree from an accredited program.
• Active Colorado license or ability to obtain one.
• 1–2 years of First Assist PA/NP experience required.
• 1 year CT with proven independence in EVH; BLS and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in CT surgery procedures.
• Harvest Radial Artery and Saphenous vein.
• Place Foley catheters and invasive lines.
• Discharge same-day or PACU patients.
• Daily team rounding; clinic duties include new H&P and follow-ups.
• Q3 call includes rounding on weekends during call; first call for nursing floor.
