Job summary

Highbrow LLC is seeking a Firmware Validation Test Engineer to work with Amazon Zoox in Foster City, CA. You will execute functional and regression tests for in-vehicle audio and streaming features, develop test content, and close coverage gaps as features evolve.

You will reproduce defects, analyze logs, and perform root-cause analysis using Wireshark, ADB, and related tools. Collaboration with firmware leads and cross-functional partners is essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on validation experience with firmware or embedded products.
Experience writing/executing test plans and cases, closing coverage gaps.
Strong log analysis and debugging using Wireshark, DLT, ADB or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for Audio and streaming features.
Author and expand test cases and maintain test documentation.
Identify coverage gaps and track health for each feature track.
Reproduce defects, capture logs, and identify root causes.
Triage fleet/field issues and drive to closure with teams.
Manage defects in JIRA with clear steps, logs and verification.
Maintain benches and in-vehicle test rigs to stay release-ready.
