Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a capable full stack software engineer to join the Business Operations Automation team. You will own features end to end across frontend, backend, and data stores, building services that automate complex internal workflows.

The role requires strong design skills, collaboration with engineers, TPMs and PMs, and a passion for scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency within AWS Hardware Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Mathematics or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop a tool-set to increase the efficiency and operation of AWS Hardware Engineering.
• Own features end to end including frontend, backend, database and automated testing.
• Recommend product improvements based on experience and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers, TPMs and PMs to deliver an amazing customer experience.
