Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Development engineer to own server firmware across multiple technologies in a data center environment. You will work with world-class developers to build, validate, and support firmware from embedded software to large-scale distributed systems.

You will influence design decisions, mentor teammates, and own significant components, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance across AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing.
