Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Systems Development Engineer to join the Fleet Automation Software Team (FAST) within Hardware Engineering Services. You will design, develop, and maintain services and infrastructure enabling hardware and firmware delivery to AWS data centers worldwide.

You will work with cross-functional teams to tackle complex problems, drive scalable system designs, and stand up operational tooling across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting of new/existing systems experience.
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage, OS and hands-on systems engineering.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain services, systems and operational infrastructure for hardware/firmware deployment to AWS data centers globally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to solve challenging technical problems and scale systems.
• Stand up operational infrastructure to manage services across multiple regions.
