Eaton Corporation is seeking a Firmware Engineering Intern / Co-op for the Energy Transition Team in Moon Township, PA. The role can be a rotational co-op or Summer 2027 internship, with an hourly rate of $22.15-$27.69.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with graduation no later than August 2029.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• No immigration sponsorship; relocation not provided; must reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and software for embedded systems and integrate test tools.
• Support firmware/software development using repositories, reviews, build servers, and Agile/TDD methods.
• Assist Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing and automation using lab tools.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes through build automation work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth) and product enhancements.
• Participate in international project teams to research, design, and launch innovations.
