Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Firmware Engineer for on-site work in Nashua, NH. You will design, develop, and debug firmware for high-speed IO cables and thermal loopbacks, collaborating with chip vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing, qualifying firmware, and mentoring teammates. Strong English communication, and hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE with 5+ years firmware exp.
• ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ with sub 32KB Flash
• I2C and bit‑bang bus debugging
• Developing page-based host interfaces for I2C Slaves (CMIS)
• Strong SWD debugging skills
• Team collaboration and peer code reviews
• Source control habits with regular check-ins
• Clear English communication and documentation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug and support firmware for high-speed IO cables and loopbacks
• Contribute to product teams turning concepts into manufacturable products
• Provide firmware support for qualification, testing and manufacturing
• Collaborate with developers of manufacturing applications
• Mentor teammates as needed
• Ensure firmware is well documented for support
• Occasionally visit manufacturing plants during ramp-up
