Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Manager- Firmware Engineering for the Nashua, NH team. You will lead the firmware engineering group, mentor engineers, and drive project schedules across multiple programs with technical rigor.

You will enforce firmware architecture standards, promote coding best practices, and push continuous improvements in development tools and processes, coordinating with peers and other managers to share best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Firmware/Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership position within a related industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor the Firmware engineering team, providing needed training and working with team members to grow within the organization
• Manage firmware project schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programs
• Provide technical mentorship, performance feedback, and career development support for engineering staff
• Aid in product defect analysis, which may include updating our production tools to collect additional information and mining factory log files
• Develop and enforce firmware architecture standards and coding best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies
• Coordinate with peers and other engineering managers within the organization to share best practices

We are currently seeking a Manager- Firmware Engineering for the High Speed Cables team located in Nashua, NH.
