Job summary

Corvid Technologies is seeking a talented Firmware Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team. You will design, develop, and debug low-level software that powers our next‑generation hardware.

This role requires hands‑on lab work with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, collaboration with hardware and systems teams, and bringing embedded solutions from concept to production using Embedded C/C++ and RTOS.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain clearance is required.
• 3+ years of professional firmware experience for embedded systems.
• Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ and RTOS configurations.
• Experience with Python or Bash for scripting and testing is a plus.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up and debugging with lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement firmware for modular, robust systems.
• Collaborate with EE teams during schematic reviews and bring‑up.
• Develop HALs and low‑level protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB).
• Create test suites for HIL and unit testing; drive CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist customers and stakeholders through life cycle and design reviews.
