Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group is seeking a firmware engineer to contribute to in-house patient monitoring and management devices, focusing on firmware development and device integration.

You will develop firmware for BareMetal and RTOS, work with electrical engineers on PCBs, and create Python scripts for testing and automation, while ensuring product requirements are met. Travel up to 25% may be required to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Hands-on embedded software experience with ARM MCUs is required.
• Familiarity with BLE, WIFI, LTE, GNSS, USB, or similar tech is expected.
• Low-power applications and device security experience is a plus.
• Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills are essential.
• Experience with Bitbucket and Jira is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot firmware for BareMetal and RTOS boards.
• Collaborate with engineers to bring up PCBs and support hardware integration.
• Create Python scripts for device testing and automation.
• Verify firmware against product requirements and specs.
• Design test procedures and analyze data to generate reports.
• Investigate failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites for installation and support as needed.
