Qualifications

• 2-5 years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Linux.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto builds.
• Experience supporting and enhancing legacy firmware on embedded devices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting for firmware and hardware issues.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, hardware interfaces, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, RS-232/485).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Job description

This position will sit primarily remote with occasional onsite hardware lab requirements in Andover, MA or Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will be located within reasonable commuting distance of one of these two locations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of embedded firmware development experience

• Experience supporting and enhancing legacy firmware on embedded devices
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for firmware and hardware issues
