Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an embedded firmware engineer with 5–7 years of experience to join our team in New York. You will work closely with hardware engineers on board bring-up and system integration, designing, developing, and debugging firmware for diverse MCUs.

The role requires hands-on validation and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment, along with strong documentation and communication skills to capture results and share insights across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Embedded C.
• Experience with 8/16/32-bit MCUs.
• Excellent communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware engineers for board bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
• Perform firmware validation, verification, and troubleshooting using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills:

• 5 to 7 years relevant experience with Embedded C.
• Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware using Embedded C.
• Experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, TI, Microchip, Renesas, etc.

Work with hardware engineers for board bring-up, debugging, and system integration.

Perform firmware validation, verification, and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
