Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to design, develop, and test Kuiper-MAC firmware running on ground networks and satellites. You will join a cross-functional team to deliver complete Kuiper-MAC FW components and drivers in a real-time embedded environment.

You will work on defining, implementing, and debugging FW/HW interfaces, profiling performance, and applying best practices in software architecture.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

As a member of Kuiper MAC-SW, you will be responsible for delivering embedded FW code running on ground networks on customer terminals and on satellites. Come and join the innovative and unique wireless project Kuiper. You would be focused on designing, developing and testing complete Kuiper-MAC FW. You will be a key member of a cross functional team of innovators, working on unique wireless technology that will enable millions of people to stay connected. Design, develop, integrate and bring up Kuiper-MAC FW components/drivers in a real-time embedded environment

Key job responsibilities

• Working in a cross-functional environment to define multi-dimensional performance requirements (e.g., MIPs, memory BW)

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
