Job summary

Solidigm is seeking a Sr. Firmware Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to own the build and release pipelines for SSD firmware across architectures. You will manage Docker-based environments, Git workflows, and toolchains to enable reliable, scalable firmware development in an Agile setting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in embedded systems, strong C/C++, and experience with build systems (CMake/Make/Ninja/Bazel), containerization, and collaboration with firmware, hardware, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded software/firmware experience (C/C++).
• Experience with build systems: CMake, Make, Ninja, Bazel.
• Git-based source control with complex merge/rebase workflows.
• Docker-based container build and image lifecycle management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document releases clearly.
• Ability to collaborate across firmware, hardware, ASIC, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable firmware build systems across multiple architectures.
• Own end-to-end firmware release pipeline from code freeze to delivery to stakeholders.
• Define release branching strategies and gating criteria for quality and traceability.
• Lead Git workflows, merges, and conflict resolution for complex firmware codebases.
