Job summary
Solidigm is seeking a Firmware Architect to join a fast-paced SSD team. You will lead cross-functional firmware architecture, drive features from concept to validation, and collaborate with hardware, ASIC, and validation teams to deliver cutting-edge storage solutions.
The role requires 10+ years in embedded firmware with C/C++, and extensive SSD firmware experience. This is a hybrid position based in Rancho Cordova, CA or Longmont, CO, with opportunities for RSU and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 10+ years in embedded firmware/software development with C/C++.
- 8+ years in SSD firmware architecture or NAND flash storage.
- Technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional firmware architecture for SSD development.
- Drive architectural requirements for customer features and specs.
- Develop and review firmware in C/C++ across teams.
- Coordinate Agile/Kanban practices and milestones.
- Collaborate with hardware/ASIC, validation, and manufacturing.
