Job summary

Utitlities Company in Tampa, FL is seeking a Firewall Administrator for a 1-year contract. The role offers $57–$60 per hour, on-site three days a week, with after-hours work for implementations once a week. USC or GC authorization is required.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years upgrading, deploying, and implementing firewalls, VPN configuration skills, and experience with ICS/industrial protocols. Check Point is preferred; other platforms include Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco or Sophos.

Client: Utitlities Company

Position: Firewall Administrator

Term: 1 year contract

Pay:$57/Hr - $60/Hr

Location: Tampa, FL 3 days on site

Note:After hours work should be expected for implementations 7pm EST or MT at least once a week.

Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY

Experience:

• 3+ Years of experience upgrading, deploying, and implementing new firewalls
• VPN knowledge: creation, configuration, troubleshooting
• Understanding of ICS protocols (ICS, Modbus, CIP) -Experience in a Regulatory business (Socs, Nerc cip, etc)
• Check Point Firewalls preferred, but experience with some firewall platform in Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco or Sophos
• Fundamental Understanding of routing and switching

Responsibilities:

• Supporting firewall tickets and investigations
• Troubleshooting Firewalls and creating firewall rules if it doesn’t work.
• Their time will be spent implementing new VPNs and troubleshooting VPNs.
• They will be supporting multiple large firewall upgrades in the organization.
