Job summary

Newtown Fireplace Shop in Newtown, PA is seeking a skilled Fireplace Service Technician to join our hands-on team. You will inspect, maintain, and repair gas, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces, ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, installing components per manufacturer specs, performing chimney and vent inspections, keeping accurate service records, and communicating findings clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fireplace service, HVAC, chimney sweeping, or related trade preferred.
• Knowledge of gas, wood-burning, and electric fireplace systems.
• NFI certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Requirements:

• NFI (National Fireplace Institute) certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
