The ideal candidate brings strong customer service and sales skills, product knowledge of fireplaces and related accessories, and the ability to upsell while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in orders and inventory coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in customer service or sales in building materials or related industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm, friendly demeanor at the counter and provide exceptional service.
• Accurately process customer orders using the POS system and verify details.
• Check product availability and coordinate delivery or pickup with other departments.
• Assist customers in selecting fireplace products based on preferences and budget.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell related items and services.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory and shelf organization.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet sales goals and participate in training.
