Crawford Thomas Recruiting presents a direct-hire opportunity with a growing building materials distributor and installer in Indianapolis. This role offers hands-on work installing fireplaces and learning a specialized trade that supports long-term career growth.

Ideal candidates may come from construction, roofing, HVAC, carpentry, warehouse, mechanical work, installation, or general labor backgrounds. You will work with lead installers, manage loads, and maintain safety standards while serving

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, carpentry, warehouse, mechanical work, installation, or general labor encouraged.
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting heavy materials.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential fireplace installations.
• Load, unload, inspect, and transport fireplaces, tools, and materials.
• Report to the Indianapolis shop each morning before traveling to job sites.
• Safely work on ladders, rooftops, and chimneys daily.
• Follow safety procedures and installation standards.
• Complete job documentation and installation photos.
• Provide professional customer service in customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential fireplace installations
• Load, unload, inspect, and transport fireplaces, tools, and installation materials
• Report to the Indianapolis shop each morning before traveling to customer job sites throughout the Greater Indianapolis area
• Safely work on ladders, rooftops, and chimneys on a daily basis
• Follow all company safety procedures and installation standards
• Complete required job documentation and installation photos
• Provide professional customer service while working in customers' homes

Qualifications

• Comfortable working at heights (required)
• Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred
• Able to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 125 pounds
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits
