Installed Building Products is seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer in Ohio to help homeowners achieve perfect settings with top-quality installations.

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, applying hands-on skills, following manufacturer specifications, and adhering to safety and state codes while keeping tools in good condition and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical aptitude is required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of installing or repairing gas/wood-burning fireplaces is a plus.
• Experience in finish carpentry or residential construction is helpful and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness of vehicles.
• Jobsite clean-up after installation completion.
• Install products to manufacturer specifications.
• Follow state code enforcement.
• Proper care and use of tools.
• Submit installation photos to supervisor.
• Comprehensive training provided.
• Follow OSHA safety standards.
• Retain DOT Medical Examination Card.
• Report installation and final setbacks to the supervisor.
• Complete labor detail sheets weekly.
• Complete ladder checks daily and monthly.
• Safely load materials and tools.

Physical Demands
