Fireplace & Chimney Authority in Illinois is seeking a dependable, hands-on handyman to join our installation team. Fireplace experience is not required—we are willing to train the right person.

We’re looking for someone with general handyman, construction, remodeling, carpentry, or installation experience who is comfortable working with tools and interested in learning a specialized trade. • Work alongside an experienced installer while learning the trade

Requirements:

• General handyman, construction, or installation experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and assist with team lifting heavier items weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Able to perform physical labor, including moving tools, equipment, brick, stone, and other installation materials
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
• Comfortable working inside customers’ homes
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
