Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida FF I/II and state paramedic certification.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• EVOC 16-hour certificate and valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED; CJIS/registration checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire, medical, and other emergencies with EMS care at EMT/Paramedic level.
• Provide advanced life support, monitor vitals, and transport patients as needed.
• Perform extrication, patient history gathering, and on-scene decisions.
• Maintain records, equipment, and station readiness; participate in education outreach.
• Lead and train junior personnel while staying on call 24 hours.
