The Barrington Fire Department is accepting applications to test for Firefighter/Paramedic in Barrington, IL. • Age under 35 at time of application; must be 21 years old by time of posting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalence required.
• Valid driver's license required at time of appointment.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Certified as Accredited Basic Operations Fire Fighter (Firefighter II) at time of application; EMT-P provisional license if not already licensed; must obtain National Registry EMT-P before post-offer background complete.
• CPAT completed within 1 year prior to application.
