Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in structural fire-fighting preferred.
• Alaska Firefighter I certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Alaska EMT I certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Valid Alaska Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire protection and emergency medical services.
• Respond to fire, EMS, hazmat, and emergency management incidents.
• Perform water and ice rescue responses as needed.
