Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current Passport.
• Two years related experience required.
• Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Fire Inspector I, Driver Operator Pumper I, Hazmat Technician required.
• Emergency Medical Technician-Basic required.
• Must pass quarterly and yearly physical agility testing.
• Must be able to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive firefighting units to and from fires or other emergencies; operate pumps and other equipment; maintain inventory on trucks.
• Clean and service units and report mechanical issues.
• Operate fire department pumping apparatus in various scenarios at emergencies.
