Allied Universal in Lyndora, PA is seeking a Firefighter-EMT for a full-time role with rotating 12-hour shifts.

EMT certification and a valid driver's license with a clean record are required. The position involves firefighting duties, emergency response, and maintaining safety at client sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Health License as EMT or higher.
• Must have current CPR/AED Certification.
• Must pass physical and Fit Test for SCBA.
• Obtain and maintain annual Hazardous Materials Technician Certification (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120).
• Must obtain and maintain annual Confined Space and Rope Rescue Certification (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146).
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect safety and security of facilities.
• Deterrence of crime and client rule infractions; report suspicious acts.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support (BLS).
• Operate firefighting equipment and tools when needed.
• Ensure readiness of protective gear and safety systems.
