Through our values-driven team, we provide structural and wildland fire protection, emergency advanced life support, ambulance transport, hazardous materials response and emergency rescue. KCFD1 is comprised of 69 line personnel who provide coverage through 4 fire stations. In 2025 our team responded to 9,346 calls for service.
This position is responsible for carrying out the duties assigned by the supervising Company Officer. Firefighter/Paramedic personnel are required to work in strict compliance with all rules and regulations that govern Klamath County Fire District 1 (KCFD1). This position responds to a variety of emergent and non-emergent incidents including calls for structural and wildland fire suppression, rescue, BLS and ALS emergency medical services, interfacility transports, mass casualty incidents, and man-made and natural disasters. Operates and assists in routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of KCFD1 vehicles, specialized equipment, facilities, and tools. This position requires project work, as assigned.
Annual Salary with Incentive: $74,439 - $91,379.64
High School Diploma or GED.
