Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Prattville, AL is seeking a Gun Vault Specialist to handle backroom firearm processes, inventory, and compliance with ATF regulations. This role safely handles firearms, processes acquisitions and dispositions, and ensures accurate ARMS documentation while assisting customers at the gun counter and on the floor.

You will perform audits, maintain clean, organized storage, and support seasonal merchandising while abiding by all federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail and firearms handling preferred.
• Knowledge of ATF and state firearms regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify firearms through ARMS and paperwork.
• Dispose firearms to licensed dealers and verify disposition data.
• Conduct monthly firearms audits.
• Maintain accurate firearms inventory per regulations.
• Provide counter sales and customer service at the gun counter.
