Bass Pro Shops in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to assist customers at the gun counter and support floor sales of hunting merchandise. You will greet customers, explain products, ensure safe handling, and help with purchases.

The role emphasizes knowledge of firearms and ammunition, ATF regulations, and strong customer service. You will maintain shelves, keep pricing accurate, and participate in ongoing product training to stay a product expert.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition products.
• Familiarity with ATF federal and state regulations.
• Customer service and firearm sales experience desirable.
• Understanding of Gun Control Act (GCA).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess needs to guide purchasing decisions.
• Recommend products and promote store programs (CLUB, VOC, in-store pickup).
• Ensure firearms forms (4473) are completed accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain firearm and hunting merchandise on the floor and counters.
• Keep shelves stocked, prices signed, and signage accurate.
• Participate in ongoing product knowledge training and stay current.
